Everyday child in South Africa faces the harsh treatment from their parents, guardians and sometimes from their peers.
Sometimes they are abused into sexual activities while other’s go to bed with empty stomach.
Everyday in South Africa plus or minus 40 children went missing without being rescued and some crosses the country while other’s get killed.
Earlier on today Department of Social Development has issued a stirm warning against the abuse of children in South Africa.
Here is the statement released by department:
Every Child Has Rights. Every Adult Has a Responsibility.Children have the right to care, protection, access to social services, and to be heard in matters affecting their lives.
Child protection begins at home[children must feel safe at home before outside], in our communities, and in our actions.
If you suspect or witness child abuse, neglect, exploitation or any form of gender-based violence, do not remain silent.
