South African women football team is amongst the nation’s that will partake in the upcoming WAFCON.
This year’s edition is set to be hosted in Morocco where the male AFCON was held for 2026 and it was drama after drama.
During the Final of Man’s AFCON, Senegal on the dying minutes of the game did unthinkable as they walked out of the pitch.
After the decision that was taken by CAF, we have witnessed unpleased videos and tweet from Moroccons influences.
Some of the went on to emphasize that Africa doesn’t deserve Morocco and the Morocco Federation also come out threatened to pull out of Africa[Participating in Africa].
The same Federation went on to accuse CAF of not handling the matter on merrit and also promised/threatened to cancel the rights to host of WAFCON.
Even though the final decision has not taken by Moroccan Federation Football, the nation’s that will participate in Women’s African Football Cup have started their preparation.

NB: South African Football Association have come forward to reveal that if Morocco decide to cancel the host rights, they will be available to host WAFCON.
