Lieutenant General Monica Thembi Hadebe pleased with the charges and decision took against Mr Maluleke.
Lieutenant General Hadebe has more experience as she has been in the police industry for 38 years.
During her appointment she was tasked with leading 105 police stations, five districts and 18 provincial components, with a total of 8,345 Police Act members and 2,014 Public Service personnel
As we know that the abuse of women and children in South Africa it keeps on growing day by day, SAPS took a drasticall measure against the issue.
On a statement released by South Africa Police Services(SAPS) yesterday (Wednesday 6th November), Lieutenant General Monica Thembi Hadebe announced that they took a decision against the rapist(Ronny Maluleke).
According to the statement released by SAPS; Mr Maluleke (34) has been sentenced to a maximum of 98 years (imprisonment) by Polokwane High Court.
It is not the first time Ronny commit such evil deeds and even back in 2015, he intruded into one of his victim where he found women and her young sister and threatened to kill them and ended up raping women in front of her younger sister then took her cellphone and money.
The following year back in September 2016, it is alleged that he meet a lady on the street carrying her baby, then asked the victim if she knew the person on his phone.
When the victim take a close look into the picture on the phone, then Ronny grabbed the baby and went to the bush where he raped the mother.
According to the statement, In June 2020 and October 2021 Ronny used facebook to pray on his victims by promising them a job.
On his scam he was misinforming women’s aged 17 to 45 that they should come for interview to his preferred location then ending up raping them.
After being reported by her victims the South African Police Services launched an investigation about him.
It is not first time Ronny got arrested, even on November 2021 he was arrested in Tzaneen village called Lenyenye.
He was then denied a bail by investigating officer Sergeant Mokgadi Matjeka and has since remained into custody until he gets charged.
According to the statement On Tuesday (5th November) Maluleke was charged with other assault including 19 count of rape which is equall to 95 years, 12 count of robbery which is equall to 58 years.
2 count of housebreaking with intentions of rape and for that they punished him by handing a maximum of 4 years.
After listening to the court ruling the Lieutenant General Monica Thembi Hadebe was pleased with the decision taken against Ronny Maluleke.
She said “This sentence will serve as a deterrent to would be rapist to resist the temptation of engaging in such disgraceful and shameful acts.”
