Marumo Gallants striker Gabhadinho Mhango was once again caught up in the mix of the wrong doing in the past few months.
The former Orlando Pirates striker was involved in a car crash and according to the statement issued by SAPS, Mhango was under the influence of alcohol.
Mhango the last time he showed up for his nation was back then in 2021 when he helped his nation to reaches AFCON last 16.
Mhango showed gratitude for being afforded another chance to represent his country after being snubbed by the former coach Patric Mabedi in the recent national duties.
He said “It’s my home team and I am happy that Pasuwa has included me in his squad. I’m ready to play for Flames, my home team.”
Malawi is set to face Burundi on November 14 in Ivory Coast then followed by another tough fixture against Burkina Faso at the Bingu National Stadium on November 18.
Even though their chance to qualify for 2025 AFCON, these two fixture will allow the coach to assemble his squad.
