The Mayor of Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality, His Worship Cllr Eddie Maila, has visited the Lesufi family in Ward 34 and the Mokgotho family in Ward 21 following the passing of their beloved mothers.
The late Mme Lesufi was the mother of Mr Jacky Lesufi, a respected community leader in Ward 34, while the late Mme Mokgotho was the mother of Ward 21 Councillor, Cllr Lisbeth Mokgotho.
During his visits, the Mayor conveyed his heartfelt condolences on behalf of Council and the broader municipal leadership.
He acknowledged the profound loss experienced by both families, describing mothers as the foundation of families and the quiet strength behind many community leaders.
Cllr Maila stated “No words can fully ease the pain of losing a mother. We stand with the Lesufi and Mokgotho families during this difficult time and extend our sincere condolences.
“May they find strength in the love of those around them and comfort in the legacy left behind by their mothers.”
The Mayor further encouraged colleagues, friends, and community members to continue supporting the families as they prepare to lay their loved ones to rest.
‘May the souls of the departed rest in eternal peace’.
