As the country face different various of crime syndicate, they are some Man and Women in blue uniform whom are dedicated to their work.
Every year the police lose their best and hard working man and woman due to the assassination from criminals.
Earlier on today Department of Police have taken the steps forward to award those who work hard.
National Commissioner of Police Mr Masemola showed how he appreciate the work that is being done/is doing by his colleagues.
Here is the statement released by Masemola:
Masemola stated “As I traverse the length and breadth of our country in service of the people of South Africa, I am continually inspired by the calibre of men and women who serve within the South African Police Service (SAPS).
“Across all ranks and environments, I encounter members who exemplify hard work, dedication, professionalism, and competence.
“While I am privileged to personally acknowledge some of these outstanding individuals, it is inevitable that many others, equally deserving, may go unrecognised in the course of daily engagements.
“It is for this very reason that the SAPS National Excellence Awards (NEA) occupy a place of profound significance within our organisation.
“These awards provide a vital platform to deliberately recognise, appreciate, and honour those members whose exceptional contributions might otherwise go unnoticed, yet whose impact is felt daily in the communities they serve.
“This celebration extends to all who serve under the SAPS banner, our men and women in blue, support personnel, reservists, and Community Policing Forum members; who demonstrated extraordinary excellence and unwavering commitment in the execution of their duties during the 2024/2025 financial year.
“As we honour these remarkable individuals, we are reminded that excellence in policing is not incidental, but the result of discipline, sacrifice, and an unyielding commitment to service.”
