After being delayed for kick start of 2024/2025 season due to finalizing the new sponsorship for top elite football in South Africa, PSL announced Betway as a new sponsors.
The partnership was announced on a three year deal and the amount for that three season was also revealed during the launch of partnership.
PSL chairman DR Ivan Khoza announced that they(PSL&Betway) signed an agreement that is estimated on a total amount of 900 million for three years.
The season started without clubs knowing how much number one(1) will be taking home at the end of the current season.
Early on today Dr Ivan Khoza made announcements highlighted that the new trophy has a reach history.
MR Chairman informed different media platforms about the price to be won and the total amount for winners is R20 million.
The price has been increased/ Added by R5 million compared to the previous amount that were provided by previous sponsors(DSTV) which was R15 million.
